About Chantelle

I have been practicing yoga since 2015 and teaching since late 2020. I am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and have completed a further 58 hours of Yoga Nidra and Yin yoga training (both Yoga Alliance accredited).
I came to the practice simply for the poses. I didn't have much of a fitness regime and figured that yoga would be a good way to start. Plus I wanted to do some of the cool handstands and funky poses that I had seen online. I have since learnt that yoga offers so much more than just poses and it's not all about doing a handstand (which is still a work in progress for me!)
A yoga practice is a lifelong journey - a beautiful voyage of discovery and it's one that I am so glad to have embarked upon. My flexibility and strength have improved but I've noticed that I feel calmer, less stressed and more grounded whenever I practice. I have also discovered the power of sound and have trained as a gong practitioner. Sound healing is a beautiful partner for a yoga practice but can also be enjoyed as a stand alone practice. Life can be so hectic - let us embrace wellness practices that allow us to slow down and relax.

So let me help you. In an encouraging, playful, supportive and friendly environment my classes....
bring ease and mobility to your body, giving you added strength and flexibility that you never knew that you had.
allow you to explore the postures and will help you adapt them so that they suit your body and your practice.
deepen your knowledge of yoga philosophy so that you can start to take your practice off the mat and into your everyday life.
I value each and every person who joins my class and I want to help you to achieve your wellness goals.

So what are you waiting for? Come and join us for a class - our unwind sessions or a gong session - our soundscape session.
Welcome to the start of your wellness journey.
